Jhamaal Sykes is an associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office, where he is a member of the Automobile and Civil Rights practice groups. Prior to joining the firm, Jhamaal clerked for the Honorable Jordan B. Yeager at the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas, focusing on civil-business litigation.
Jhamaal was born and raised in rural Montana. He graduated from the University of South Florida in 2017, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in both History and Political Science. He obtained his J.D. from the American University Washington College of law. Throughout law school, Jhamaal performed public policy research for the D.C. internet freedom thinktank TechFreedom. In his free time, Jhamaal enjoys spending time as a luthier, making violins and supporting the classical strings community.
