BBS Spotlight - Olivia Szumski

This week’s BBS Spotlight focuses on BBS associate, Olivia Szumski! Olivia began her career at Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC as a summer associate in 2021. In 2022, Olivia graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctor from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she served as President of the Moot Court Board. While on Moot Court, she was the Northeast Regional Champion of the Giles S. Rich 2022 Moot Court Competition, finishing sixth in the country at the National Rounds. Also during law school, Olivia was the recipient of the CALI Award for Best Student Performance in Constitutional Law, Appellate Advocacy, and Litigation Practice Skills. Upon graduation, Olivia was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, an honorary organization for graduating law students who demonstrate exceptional skills in oral advocacy and brief writing. Olivia also received the Cozen O'Connor Award for Exemplary Moot Court Performance, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Eric D. Turner Award, and the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project Outstanding Student Performance. She now focuses her practice in the areas of automobile and premises liability matters in Pennsylvania. In her free time, you can find Olivia at a concert, cheering on Philadelphia sports teams, or spending time with family and friends!
