BBS Spotlight - Christopher McMonagle
This week’s BBS Spotlight focuses on BBS associate, Christopher McMonagle! Chris concentrates his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith, focusing on first-party property claims in Pennsylvania. Prior to joining BBS, Chris practiced real estate and commercial litigation in state and federal courts at a Montgomery County, Pennsylvania firm. In that role, Chris represented businesses and individuals at the trial and appellate levels. Chris handled pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement conferences, trial preparation, and appeals. Chris obtained numerous favorable judgments and settlements for his clients. Prior to going into private practice, Chris served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Bernard A. Moore of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. During law school at Villanova, Chris worked as a certified legal intern for the Chester County District Attorney’s Office where he conducted preliminary hearings on felony and misdemeanor charges, and trials on summary charges. Chris lives in Horsham, Pennsylvania with his wife and headstrong West Highland Terrier. When not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and cheering on Penn State football and the Philadelphia sports teams!
