BBS Attorneys Work With 8th Graders to Prepare for the Law Adventure Contest

BBS attorneys Charles J. Lanzalotti and Dana Szilier had the honor of working with eighth grade students from Chestnut Ridge Middle School (Washington Township, NJ) as they prepared to compete in the Law Adventure Contest sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation. The sessions focused on how to make opening statements, examine witnesses and make closing arguments. It was amazing to witness the students’ advanced analytical skills. Congratulations to the students for successfully prosecuting two cases to favorable jury verdicts. Hopefully this experience will encourage a few of the students to be future trial lawyers!
