Taylor Ostertag is an Associate at the firm’s Philadelphia office where she works with the Bad Faith team. She is also a member of the firm’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement Committee. Taylor began her career at Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC as a Summer Associate in 2023.
In 2024, Taylor graduated with a Juris Doctor from Drexel’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law. While at Drexel, Taylor served as a staff editor, and later, a notes committee member of the Drexel Law Review where she contributed to editing articles for publication and assisted first year members in writing their notes. She was also selected to work as a Dean’s Scholar for a first-year course on Civil Procedure, where she assisted in teaching weekly lectures and held office hours for students in her class. Additionally, Taylor served as a Law School Ambassador for the Office of Admissions, President of OUTLaw, Event Coordinator for the Asian and Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA), and Social Media Chair for the Middle Eastern Law Student Association (MELSA) during her time at Drexel. Formerly, Taylor worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Sheila Woods-Skipper, the administrative judge for Philadelphia Orphans’ Court, through Drexel’s co-op program.
In 2021, Taylor graduated magna cum laude from the University of Delaware. She earned a B.A. in Political Science and Women & Gender Studies, with minors in Legal Studies and English. While there she served as a student coordinator for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, a teaching assistant for a course on law and ethics in American education, and President of UD’s HenLaw Society.
In her free time, you can find Taylor with her nose in a book, at game night with friends, trying new restaurants around Philly, or hanging out with her two cats.
