Jake Yzzi is an associate on the firm’s Premises Liability, Products Liability, and Toxic Tort teams. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and District of New Jersey.
Prior to joining the firm, Jake worked in the Philadelphia office of a mid-sized regional defense firm where he represented a national retail store chain, premises owners, insurers and product manufacturers, among others. He has extensive experience in all phases of state and federal court litigation, from pre-suit through mediation to trial/arbitration. Jake has handled pleadings, discovery, motions to dismiss and for summary judgment, pre- and post-trial motions and has taken and defended numerous depositions of plaintiffs, fact witnesses and corporate representatives.
Jake earned his Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law. During law school, he interned for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Administrative Office of the Pennsylvania Courts and clerked for the defense firm which he would later join as a summer associate and associate. Jake received his Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude from Temple University.
