Jordan D. Koko is a litigation attorney whose practice areas include insurance
bad faith, health and disability law, and property and commercial litigation.
In particular, since joining Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLP in 2004,
Jordan has spent considerable time litigating in several niche practice areas,
including the defense of private insurance disability claims, and the defense
of federal lawsuits brought under the National Flood Insurance Program.
Jordan’s clients, which include insurers, businesses, and individuals,
frequently seek his advice on questions of insurance coverage, jurisdiction
and trial depositions. Jordan brings a focused, qualitative approach to addressing
the needs of his clients, and believes that by pursuing a well-researched and
forceful litigation strategy at the outset of a lawsuit, cases can often become
the subject of an early and favorable resolution.
Jordan received his J.D. from Temple University’s Beasley School of
Law. During law school, Jordan was awarded the Barristers’ Trial Advocacy
Award, and earned numerous distinctions for oral advocacy, brief writing, and
legal ethics. Jordan was also a member of Temple’s Moot Court Team, and
won the 2003 I. Herman Stern Moot Court Competition on First Amendment law.
Prior to law school, Jordan worked for several years in business management,
supervising the operations of a large resort in Fairbanks, Alaska. Originally
from Alaska, Jordan graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 1998
with a degree in political science. While he still enjoys occasional trips
up north to visit family, fish, and hike up small mountains, Jordan prefers
living in the Philadelphia area where he can play tennis and run outdoors year.
