Joel Paul Fishbein is co-of counsel at Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLP and chair of its general liability and construction litigation team. Joel graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1962.

Joel has specialized in premises and construction liability cases. In addition to the often routine trip-and-fall and ice and snow cases, he has considerable experience in construction accidents, the statutory employer defense and claims involving the liability of property owners for the criminal conduct of third parties. He has addressed numerous claims staffs on these and related topics.

On coverage issues, Joel has authored articles for Counterpoint, the publication of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute, on coverage for claims arising out of sexual misconduct of the insured and on the exclusion of coverage for intentional conduct of persons other than the insured.
