David Ray graduated from Temple University School of Law, in 1980 whereupon he became an Assistant Defender at the Defender Association of Philadelphia. Assigned to the Major Trial Division in 1982, he tried countless criminal matters where his clients were exposed to serious jeopardy by nature of the charges filed. As a result, he had extensive jury trial practice before he left in 1987 to begin his career in the civil arena.
David has been engaged in civil practice since 1987. His practice has included all forms of civil litigation, emphasizing construction, environmental, and product liability defense and resulting in the development of close ties with clients in the insurance industry. David joined the firm in June, 2006, bringing with him this considerable experience throughout the region.
Born in Melbourne Australia, David lived his childhood years in Brazil and still speaks some Portuguese. He is married with two children who are engaged in their own careers. He lives in Wyncote, Pennsylvania.
