Brian G. Welsh focuses his practice on automobile law and product liability defense.
He also has experience defending premise liability, medical malpractice and
construction defect cases. Along with defending clients at arbitration and
trial, he also sits as an arbitrator for the Court of Common Please, Philadelphia
County.
Prior to coming to Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLP, Brian gained diverse
experience as a plaintiff’s attorney, prosecuting complex product liability
cases involving consumer and industrial products, medical malpractice cases,
as well as the Hague Convention and ERISA. He has also drafted appellate briefs
on trial issues for the Superior Court and Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
Brian received a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University and his Juris Doctorate
from Villanova University School of Law, and is invited annually to help judge
the appellate advocacy competitions. As a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association,
he is also a volunteer for Advancing Civics Education in affiliation with the
School District of Philadelphia to help supplement the civics curriculum of
high school students.
Brian is admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Supreme Courts as well
as to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and
the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
In his free time, you will likely find him on the Kelly Drive in Philadelphia
training for his next marathon.
